All children are gifted

    All children are unique in their areas of gifting, so i make bold to say no child is dull or unintelligent. Based on my experience with children, i have discovered that there are three categories of children in terms of their learning abilities. They can be grouped into;
(1) the visual learner
(2) the audio learner
(3) the kinesthetic learner
    The visual learner learns easily when you have a whole lot of teaching materials displayed. These teaching materials can be projected, brought to the class, displayed so they can see and identify with them. The visual learners engage their learning capacity when they see what they are being taught. The audio learner loves engaging their hearing capacity. Once you give them a vivid description of what you want them to learn, they creatively form the image of what you are describing and that stays with them.

   Lastly, the kinestethic  learners are full of energy, they do not stay in a place while learning. Alot of people refer to the kinesthetic learner as 'restless'. They usually move about while learning.

All children are fantastic and are great learners. A child can have two or all of these traits. It does not mean the child is weird. Approach of teaching may vary as regards these children and their temperaments. Next time, we shall discuss how we can bring out the best in these children and how to discover their gifting.
